Location
Encís d'Empordà is located in a privileged location between the sea and the mountains. It is located next to the best beaches on the Costa Brava on one side, with the coastal-paths bordering the coast, or the Marine Reserve of the Islands Medas in the Montgrí Natural Park, ideal for scuba diving. On the other side we find the Montgrí mountain massif, the cork forests of Les Gavarres, the Natural park of the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà or the Vies Verdes, old railway paths rehabilitated as roads, ideal for cycling and hiking.
In addition, Encís d'Empordà is surrounded by a network of charming medieval villages with an exceptional legacy of Romanesque art, such as Pals or Peratallada (10km from the hotel), Cruïlles and Monells (4km), Corçà and Ullastret (2km). Nearby is the so-called Dalinian Triangle that follows the footsteps left by the empordà artist in Figueres-Portlligat-Púbol. A step away is also located the historical old town of Girona. The region also has an endless range of wine tourism and gastronomic campaigns ideal to discover and taste the excellent gastronomy of the region.
Encís d'Empordà is located at the medieval village of Casavells in the municipality of Corçà in Baix Empordà. Its roads are paved and are easily accessible by any vehicle. In front of the house there is a small square where you can park your car easily.
To get by car you should take the AP7 highway and exit at Girona Nord. The take the C66 towards La Bisbal - Palamos. Once you reach the village of Corçà take the C252 direction to Escala. After 2 Km you will find the exit to Casavells. The Encís is the last house of the village. Get into the casavells village and head Matajudaica or Mata, just before leaving the Casavells village you will find Encís.
You can also come by a RENFE train stopping at Flaça and then take a taxi. There are two train lines that stops at Flaçà those are BCN-Portbou and BCN-Figueres. We can book you a taxi if you wish, the Taxi service cost is approximately 25€ and it delays 15min.
You can also get from Girona Airport and then take a taxi. Taxi service can be hired at the airport or we can book you previously, cost approximately 65€ and time delay 35min.
