Baix Empordà is an ideal place for hiking. The district is perfectly laid out for enjoying the various different types of landscape. The district is now served by well-structured and signposted network of paths throughout the territory.
The hiking network means that visitors can get to know our land from north to south and from east to west, passing within a short time from the most secluded bays to the most delightful woods, or from the main towns to the most out-of-the-way and peaceful little villages.
The coastal footpaths are itineraries that run along the coastline of Costa Brava. These paths are known for his fabulous views of Girona coast, where the deep blue sea combined with the green pine trees which provides shade most of part the way. On the Costa Brava there are no walks more spectacular than the ones along the coastal footpaths, a wonderful way to discover small coves, vertiginous cliffs, charming beaches and other unmissable coastal beauty spots.
